By · CommentsMy name is Harold Greer, and I have suffered with back and hip pain since an injury in World War II. Through the years I have been diagnosed and treated by many doctors, both with the Veterans Administration and in private practice.
For approximately ten years, beginning about 1987, I was given spinal epidural/cortisone shots to ease the pain. In April of 1997, I was admitted to the V.A. hospital for a spinal stenosis operation. This eased the pain for almost five years, after which time they started reoccurring.
Since that time I have been given almost every narcotic pain medication known to man. I would rather have the pain then the effects of the narcotics. I have also had epidural shots in recent years, but the relief was only temporary.
As a last resort, I contacted Dr.Jade Malay at the Alliance Pain Center, and we decided to try a series of 12 treatments (three treatments per week) using the decompression table along with massage. After the first 12 treatments, I felt enough improvement that I decided to go for the second series of 12 (two per week). My back and hip pain have lessened to a great degree.
Before starting treatments, I had pain 90% of the time on a pain scale of at least 9 or 10. After 22 treatments , my pain is down to a 1 or 2, and I am able to do the things I like to do.

By · CommentsFebruary 2010, I was scheduled for an annual checkup with my personal care physician. I informed him I had a severe pain in my right buttocks and a tingling sensation, like pins and needles, all the way down my right leg including the heel. He stated it sounded like sciatica. Not knowing what that was, I advised him I had run Across an article in the DMN for Alliance Pain Centers regarding back & neck pain and I saw those very symptoms describing my situation. It was revealed a week later that I had had three(3) herniated discs in my lower back.I was scheduled for 24 sessions on the DRX-9000, along with hand massages,electric muscle stimulation,exercise, and adjustments. I was skeptical at first, but after about a month, the tingling started to go away and the pain was not as frequent. I have completed the 24 sessions on the DRX-9000. I must admit, I am pain and tingle free. THANKS Dr.Malay, to you and all your Dallas staff, including Dr,Stafford, Amber, Scott, James, and Mary. Everyone was so professional and caring. I highly recommend this procedure to anyone as an alternative to injections or back surgery. Thanks, again!

My sciatica pain was beginning to color every aspect of my life. Some times it took over my entire thought process such that other essential matter would go unnoticed. I was desperate for relief. Decompression seemed to good to be true. After I finished just a few treatments on the DRX9000 my pain began to go away.
